The Teahouse at Petersham Nurseries serves a simple Italian-inspired lunch menu, prepared daily using fresh, seasonal and sustainable produce.
Enjoy home style Italian cooking from salads to stews, risottos to the classic banja cauda.
Throughout the day, the Teahouse offers a diverse selection of whole leaf Chinese teas, fair trade freshly ground cafetieres of coffee and a daily selection of home made cakes (our favourites are carrot & walnut, lemon and poppyseed, and banana bread).
We invite you to drop into the Teahouse, scan our blackboards and fill a tray with yummy treats. Settle down in one of our cosy glasshouses with a carafe of wine or elder-flower lemonade and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the nursery.

The Teahouse is open:
Tuesday to Friday, 10.00am – 4.30pm
Saturday, 10.00am - 4.30pm
Sunday, 11.00am – 4.30pm
THE TEAHOUSE IS CLOSED ON MONDAY
Please note, the Teahouse serves teas, coffee and cakes throughout the day.
Their Italian-inspired light savoury lunch menu is served from midday, until stocks last. No reservation neccessary - simply a first-come, first-served basis.
